As we wrap up development of myPOPGOES' new update, I want to once again clarify something, since I keep seeing incorrect information online (and especially in some new reviews on Steam):
With the exception of myself, myPOPGOES is developed by people who do not work on POPGOES Evergreen. It is programmed, composed, sprited, drawn by contributors who have no responsibilities on my other projects. Updating myPOPGOES to make it as high quality as possible has not and will not stop or slow down the development of Evergreen.
This is also the case with merchandise. I work alongside artists and companies for merch who do not already work on my games. It is a totally separate endeavour. It does not make sense to say I work on collectibles and plushies "instead" of Evergeen. It genuinely never gets in the way.
Evergreen is a very ambitious project, with many contributors. But a lot of its development consists of me waiting for content to be produced, often by people with real-life responsibilities like work, school, or other creative output. I like to fill these gaps up with side projects, so I always have something to do. And, again, it's usually with totally different people, so things aren't spread thin for them.
That's it. Please judge these side projects as their own things - they are not obstacles in Evergreen's development and they are not "stopping" you from receiving a different project. Enjoy them for what they are, because they are genuinely just bonus releases.
