The road was empty when he parked his car, Jschlatt has gotten many invites from his old friend Wilbur to come to 'Le Manberg' or whatever he called it, he wanted him to be his endorsement for the elections it seems, Schlatt didn't really care, he just wanted to see how fast he can derail this whole thing.
He sat in his car for 20 minutes or so, looking at his phone and fixing his tie, when he got a notification, it was Wilbur's younger brother asking if he should come pick him up as Quackity and Wilbur were going to bring up their endorsements soon, he said sure
He got out of his car and opened the trunk, to get some items.
As he was getting his water bottle, which he put amongst the rest of his stuff, he accidentally knocked over an empty beer can. He wondered how long it was in there, as he hasn't been drinking for over two years and a half,
"Two and a half?" He thought, he was surprised he can keep sober for that long, he smiled as he was proud for himself, he didn't have any problems to drink away recently.
he got caught in his thoughts that were quickly interrupted by an excited blonde teenager, which Schlatt assumed it was Tommy, Wilbur's brother.
"Hey Big Man!" Tommy said as Schlatt closed the trunk and locked his car, "What's up, Big T?" asked Schlatt as he followed the blonde who was heading to the stage
"Thanks for actually showing up" said Tommy as they walked on the wooden path "Vikkstar only sent us a video, and Quackity's endorsement didn't respond, so you're pretty much the one endorsement that nobody can claim was faked" Schlatt smirked at this, they definitely won't claim he faked his endorsement, because he won't endorse anything, oh little did they know
Schlatt almost felt bad for his friend and his younger brother, they had no idea what's coming. Although he wasn't planning to do anything too drastic
They continued to walk in silence when-
"Over here tommy!" A brown haired boy in a green sweater waved at them
"Tubbo!" Tommy rushed at him and asked him if Wilbur was done with his speech yet, worried that he may have missed introducing Schlatt
Schlatt looked at the boy who Tommy referred to as 'Tubbo' as if his world came crashing on him
No way, no fucking way, it's not... Tubs? He stared at the brunette and looked away, maybe it's just a coincidence, similar names nothing else is what he would've thought if he didn't notice the bee pin Tubbo had on his sweater, that was definitely the same one.
The same sweet 6 year old he left in that box, in the middle of no where so many years ago.
Schlatt felt light headed, he followed Tommy into the backstage and took a seat, his breathing was shaky and he felt sick, he haven't felt this way in years, ever since he let go of Tubs to be exact, in that cardboard box.. what was this feeling? Guilt? Anger? Sadness? He wondered if Tubbo remembers him, and if he does, will he be mad at him? He wondered
he sighed, he didn't want to do this, he didn't want to go back to this level but..
"Ay Tommy, does that mini-fridge have any beer?"
"I think Big Q got some the other day" Tommy answered unsurely
"Get me a few" every fiber of his body told him not to, but he couldn't help it
"You're going to give a speech while drunk?" Tommy was worried and rightfully so
"Did I fucking stutter?!" Schlatt yelled, loud enough to scare the blonde kid, but not enough for the people on the stage to hear
Tommy quickly got up and passed him a can which the ram hybrid downed instantly "atta boy" said Schlatt as he crushed the can, he got up and got two or three more from the mini-fridge, he didn't care of he angers the guy who brought them, he'll repay him later.
After a while, empty beer cans were on the floor, Tommy was focusing on the intercom, when he noticed Wilbur ending his speech, he gestured to the half conscious ram to follow him, onto the stage
Let's just say that there was alot more yelling than planned, and the alcohol heavily influenced his speech, he didn't mean to sign himself up as a third participant to the election, but that technically still works in his plan of derailing the whole thing. But that also means he'll have to stay here for longer.. and closer to his former abandoned son..
He hoped this place sold enough alcohol..
