Recently, a lot of GameJolt quests (mainly ones involving showing off fanart or creations) have had an additional way to earn stickers through them by liking about 30 posts that use the same # as the quest. What this has led to is a lot of people going to the first posts that pop up when that hashtag is searched and liking them for the quest. Even posts that have nothing but the quest # in them can reach hundreds of likes. These posts overshadow the hard work that a lot of content creators on GameJolt put into their art for some of the quests, leaving them in the dark while posts of literally nothing succeed.
One of my most recent posts shows this pretty clearly. I posted saying that I'd be happy if Pikachu beats Peppino in the Summer Mascot Bracket and then added the quest #. My post was one of the first four that used that # for the quest. By the end of the day, that post had reached nearly 200 likes. It is now my most liked post ever and was responsible for me earning the 2,000 Total Likes achievement. I have some art that I've posted that I poured hours into and see a couple meaningless words beat all of them by more than double has been somewhat discouraging.

These optional additions to quests have led to a lot of people farming off of the quests for likes and its left a lot of artists and other GameJolt users in the dark. My solution? Don't add the Like 30 Posts part to quests. People are taking advantage of it to steal the spotlight and it needs to stop.
