Just want to be clear about something, which I've mentioned elsewhere but not in a dedicated post:
Emil Macko is not programming POPGOES Evergreen. His contributions to the game ended in December 2024, which were for the post-night (Red Vault) gameplay screenshots, for Dawko's charity showcase. Prior to that, most of Emil's work on Evergreen was done in 2023 (we showed a lot of this in YouTube videos you can check out) or much earlier (for sporadic, short periods of time).
Emil's work on the POPGOES series has almost entirely been on POPGOES Arcade, which was often done in a few months of each year, when he and I were available and truly locked in. He also created all of the Dawko showcase builds (which sometimes involved actual gameplay mechanics or features for Evergreen). That being said, Emil spends the vast majority of his time on his own projects, FNAC and otherwise (which he has been transparent about!)
So again, to be clear, Emil is not a dedicated contributor to the series anymore. His role as a programmer for POPGOES Evergreen has moved to another person, that being Tuparman, the programmer for myPOPGOES: New & Improved (which had an excellent reception). Tuparman has been making significant progress on POPGOES Evergreen's post-night gameplay lately, and the transition between coders has gone smoothly.
I hope that clears things up!
PS: Emil's earlier contributions to POPGOES Evergreen were fantastic and are still being used. He was not "let go" from the team - the switch to a new programmer was part of a general restructuring earlier this year. He is still a part of our group, but will not adding to the game's code (unless we need help with something specific, especially regarding what he originally made for it).
