Atlantic Crisis

Atlantic Crisis is a game set up in a way we would have done that in the 1980s. No big stories or a full scale mission to complete, just simply scoring points and trying to survive as long as possible, and see how much points you can get.

The object is easy.... Just sail your sub to divers in trouble you see... as soon as you got one, a ladder will appear top of the screen and there you can bring them to safety. Of course many enemies are there only with one goal in mind. To kill you.

You must also mind your air tanks as they will deplete over time, and you can only refill them by getting to the surface.

Now the game does feature more colors than we had back then (I know hard to imagine, but still the truth), but still the game does get the feelings of the old days back. The music makes that even more complete. Contrary to the old days, the game does support WASD, making it quick to learn even to the "modern gamers".

I promised I'd look at this game a long time ago, and I'm glad I remembered my promise, and kept it, as it was really worth it.

What the game could benefit by is when the GJ API was used to make leaderboards. Other than that, this game is a true tribute to the good old days
