Beta v.2 cancelled, full game now in development, contest update, progress, final decisions

MOAR NEWS!!

  • Beta V.2 CANCELLED

***Don’t be afraid of that, unless you want to be. It’s nothing terrible.* I’ve been thinking, and I realized something. If I uploaded Beta V.2 (something I worked really hard on) and uploaded it to textadventures (the program I use to make the game), I wouldn’t be able to update it because of stuff.

Beat V.2 was going to be pretty much half of Episode 1. If I uploaded Beta V.2, and went to make the full game, i’d be forced to re-create half of the game again and then the new stuff. It’d take doule the time!

So instead of releasing content early, I’ll be releasing the good stuff on-time! Beta V.2 may be cancelled, but the full game will be worth the not-so long wait!

It should be done around mid-February or so, if I get some time, late January, this month. I need to get it out as early as before March because the Voice Acting Contest ends in February. So it’d be good to have the voices in before it’s too late!

  • VOICE ACTING CONTEST

If you are confused on what this voice acting contest is, it’s a contest where I;m trying to gather a few people to voice the character in Lost Markiplier: Episode 1. Rewards will be given to winners.

If you want to audition or simply know more about the contest, click here to read a News article on the contest.

It ends February 2nd, so get reading and audition today!

  • FINAL DECISIONS

Here are the names of the chapters in Episode 1:

  • Chapter 1: Home Sweet Home

  • Chapter 2: Awakening to a Nightmare

  • Chapter 3: New Life

  • Chapter 4: Training Day

  • Chapter 5: Need Your Trust

  • Chapter 6: This is Only the Beginning

There will be about six chapters in one episode, adding up to, hopefully, thirty chapters to play. One chapter will be up to eight minutes long, if you are an average reader. So, that’d mean 48 minutes of reading and gameplay in one Episode. Hopefully longer if you search for the Warfstaches and secrets.

Here are some other statistics:

  • Estimated 4 hr. 8 min. gameplay added up Episode 1,2,3,4+5.

  • Estimated 30 Chapters in all.

  • 1 main ending, 2 alternate endings, 2 secret endings. 5 endings to achieve in all. Choices do not change the recieved conslusion until Episode 5, but read and watch closely for clues on how to achieve these endings.

More info coming soon! Full game coming soon!

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.
