Blue Mountains and info


Progress will slow down a bit again. Replicating the original levels takes time, and working with the mountains tileset is a bit tedious. Here’s a regular screencap of Blue Mountains and also some new info:

-Each world now has 4 levels instead of 3, this includes Blue Mountains, Picture City, The Caves of Skops and Candy Château.
-There will be at least 2 new worlds, one of them will be a familiar one from one of the Rayman games. ;)
-Each world has it’s own helper friend (Tarayzan, Musician, Joe…) who gives you something to help you on your way. This also means that old powerups, like Tarayzan’s magic seed, will return in other worlds.
-Magician sells you bonus levels you can unlock with special tokens. These tokens can be found from regular levels, bought from the shop, or acquired from the casino…
-Visit the casino in Picture City to gamble away all of your tings, or win some prices.
-You unlock more stuff in the shop after each world, this includes new skins for Rayman, Bzzit and the Checkpoint photographer.

Next up

Version 1.4.0 has been released.

As usual, please report all glitches and bugs you may find. Even though this is the final major update, I'm still committed to posting bug fixes.

Version 1.1.2 has been released.

This update includes fixes I forgot to implement for 1.1.1.

The new 'Custom Graphic' object:

To make sure your custom graphic shows up correctly, make sure it's in the 'Custom' folder, just like all custom music and background resources have been so far. Don't forget to bundle the graphics with your level!

Version 1.1.3 has been released.

More tiny fixes and additions.

Version 1.1.0 has been released. You can now create custom skins by editing the included png files! Some limitations still apply, but people might get pretty creative with this.

Version 1.2.0 has been released. This will most likely be the final content update. There will be bug fixes if need to be, but you don't expect any more new additions. Thank you to everyone who have given suggestions, reported bugs and made levels so far!

This update mostly focuses on fixing some bugs and glitched reported since the last update.
