Building the AI.


My boy here went through a lot of work this week.
He went from a brainless idiot to a guy with a purpose.

Here he only had his patrol routes and had 0 vision and awareness of what went on.
Then i did give him some basic vision but it was too dumb.
Nevethless now he could pay attention to noises around him or other triggers.

Then I gave him a basic line of sight that he would see no matter the circumstance.

This sadly had to go, he was too broken so i made it so that you can hide behind things from him.

Now his very basic behavior is complete, he patrols, goes to things that get his attention and hunt the hell out of you when he sees you.

Next up

The new cover art for the game :) Hope you guys like it.

Working on the combat mechanics, a lot of it working now, so I can start getting closer to a demo and making the game prettier graphics wise.

I've been making graphics mostly so here's a preview about how i imagine the majority of the stuff to be

The demo is pretty much done, but taking my time with polishing, testing and preparing :) Here's a taste gif.

Working on all the demo content cutscenes, and finally arrived at the first gameplay section, which will feature some action :) The graphics are not fully realized, but this is for context purposes only.

And with this animation, this segment of the game is done, now to focus on graphics and audio setup :)
