Castle Interior Changes

So I recently added gamepad support and it truly feels like a game to me. Anyway, this little devlog will be about the castle interior (judging by the title, you probably already knew that). My original castle interior was filled with old tiles. After changing the style of my bridge level, it was time to go back and start redesigning the new castle interior level.

It will actually be one zone, split up into different regions. I sort of want to go for a Guacamelee style level design I guess. If you haven’t played it, I highly recommend it.

I had already started working on the drapes a bit ago. I made a few tweaks to them and quite happy with how they look, especially over the windows. I will animate them so that they move a little every so often; don’t want to create static looking levels.

That’s it for the time being. I will keep working on this level every so often. Will continue working on other mechanics and animations as well. It’s all slowly coming together. I do plan on making a demo when everything is in a better state. Can’t wait for people to try it out :D

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
