Changelog 0.16.0


Hey everyone! thank you for being patient, this will be the last major update that the demo stage will receive, thank you all for playing from the start until now!

Now I will start doing a roadmap for the development to start the beta, I'll see what I need to do to put the game on Steam, think about how I will receive the feedback, doing a discord server is something that I have in mind but I not gonna lie, I'm very unsure about that yet.

Well, that's the changelog for this version! Please, any bugs that you guys find, let me know in the comments!

One more thing before, this is the last major update but another update patch (0.16.1) will be arriving soon to complete a few missing things that I still want to do before really starting the thing okay? that's it for now, have fun!

  • Added a reward of +$25 for each wave alive (increases by 25 every 5 waves)

  • Added an icon for the boss on the mini-map

  • Re-added the hand's movement that was removed by accident (sorry!)


Changes

  • Changed how the Waves and zombies spawn work

  • Changed the Ammo Price from $150 to $200

  • Changed the perks descriptions

  • Changed the Sync Interval for all zombies from 0.1 to 0.3 as an attempt to lower the ping for the client's

  • Changed the First Aid Heal amount from 80 to 50

  • Changed the Life bar color on the player HUD

  • Changed the bullet trails texture to the old one

  • Changed the Basic Zombie Reward from 45 to 29

  • Changed the Runner Reward from 38 to 32

  • Changed the Acid Zombie Reward from 48 to 38

  • Changed the Fire Zombie Reward from 40 to 38

  • Changed the Bloodthirsty Reward from 65 to 41

  • Changed the Max zombies amount from 35 to 45

  • Changed the Headshot damage multiplier from 2 to 1.5

  • Changed the Runner max life from 80 to 90

  • Changed the Fire Zombie max life from 60 to 40

  • Changed the Acid Zombie max life from 160 to 150

  • Changed the Bloodthirsty life from 300 to 250

  • Changed the Tank Boss Health from 1500 to 1000

  • Changed the Tank Boss Health adjust from 15% to 25%

  • Changed the Vampirism Active chance from 8% to 2%

  • Changed the Vampirism Heal from 10 points to 12 points

  • Changed the Players Immunity time after getting hit from 0.5s to 0.2s

  • Changed the money multiplier to decrease by 0.25 for every 10 waves instead of increase by the time

  • Changed the number of points earned by fixing barricades from 8 to 70

  • Changed the number of points earned by surviving a wave from 100 to 50

  • Changed the Grenade damage from 120 to 200

  • Changed the max regeneration from the Health Regeneration perk from 50% to 35%

  • Changed the Shotgun price from 2800 to 2500

  • Changed the Shotgun damage from 11 to 20

  • Changed the start damage Multiplier from 2 to 1.5

  • Changed the Fire Axe damage from 51 to 55

  • Changed the Desert Eagle damage from 40 to 42

  • Now the grenade deals damage only to the player who threw it

  • Now all the barricades start broken

  • Now the chat will be cleared when everyone returns to the lobby

  • Now money is limited to 5000

  • Now if you are Crouching you will have more Accuracy when shooting

  • Now each weapon have a price when buying ammo

  • Reworked how the barricades work, now each table will have 2 of resistance but, each zombie will have a specific force when attacking a barricade

  • Reworked how the Lobby HUD logic work's

  • Reworked how a few things on the player's code works, like the crosshair, gravity, and other technical stuff

  • Reworked how the targeting logic from the zombie's works

  • Reworked the Match tab HUD

  • Reworked the Zombies animation system

  • Reworked the Options menu

  • Reworked the Interact System

  • Increased the Attack speed for the Zombies

  • Increased the Dash stamina usage from 8 to 10

  • Increased the Distance for the player to collide with the walls

  • Increased the zombies buffering as an attempt to reduce the zombies networking usage

  • Increased a bit the Ammo shop interact area

  • Increased the Cost price for the First-Aid from 200 to 350

  • Increased the time for the bullets decals to despawn

  • Increased the amount of bullets decals that can be spawned at the same time from 50 to 150

  • Decreased the Player movement when grabbed by a zombie from 0.25 to 0.15

  • Removed the passive Health regeneration for the players

  • Removed the Sell cost from the perks, now if you sell it you will receive the Cost amount of it!

  • Removed the Mini-map delay from the rotating mini-map

  • Reverted the change from the barricades, now they reward money again instead of using it

  • Moved the V-sync and FPS limit from "Main Options" to "Display"

  • Fire Zombies now deal damage to nearby zombies


Waves

The waves system was completely redone for the following:

  • Each wave will have a limited time

  • After wave 25, the timer will increase to 2 min.

  • Waves can be passed through Time or Kill

  • The number of zombies was adjusted per wave and players

  • The money rewarded now is lowered every 10 waves, and zombies will become strong every 3 waves.


Grenade

The Grenade was receive the following changes to make them more useful:

  • Zombies now can be attracted by Grenades if they are more nearby than players

  • Bosses and Bloodthirsty zombies can't be attracted by grenades

  • Increased the explosion range from 9 to 11


Improvements

  • Improved the action bar HUD (when reloading or using an item)

  • Improved the Vampirism to have the same effect on the screen as the First Aid when used

  • Reduced the number of particles from the Explosion to improve performance


Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that was causing the stamina limit to have an inconsistency width

  • Fixed an issue where the dash animation would stop if the player was not touching the floor

  • Fixed an issue where the reset button on "Controls" was not working properly (it would show the key was reset on the HUD but the real Input Key would stay the same)

  • Fixed an issue where the zombies were not being stunned correctly

  • Fixed an issue where the zombies would pass through the walls when stunned too nearby from one

  • Fixed an issue where it would be impossible to equip the First Aid if you were with a weapon on the first slot

  • Fixed an issue with the bullet capsules collisions

  • Fixed an issue where the zombies were grabbing the player when stunned

  • Fixed an issue where the bullet was not going in the correct direction if the player was too close to something

  • Fixed an issue where was possible to shoot while pushing

  • Fixed an issue that was causing the zombies to walk through the barricades, even if it was tables fixed

  • Fixed an issue where the player could walk twice as fast if pressing W and D at the same time

  • Fixed an issue where the game was not updating the game quality when started

  • Fixed an issue where was possible to have your money negative after buying a lot of ammo very fast

  • Fixed an issue where the Heal could fail sometimes

  • Fixed an issue where the Grenade was not synchronizing the position for the clients, only for the host

  • Fixed an issue where the player could attack again before the attack animation ends

  • Fixed an issue where the holding the Fire Axe animation was too fast for the others

  • Fixed an issue where the cost text from the Weapons and Ammo shop would sometimes be shown on top of the screen

  • Fixed an issue where the Tank boss stomp attack would deal damage after the stones have already spawned for a short amount of time

  • Fixed an issue where the Appearance colors buttons would be on the wrong scale after changing the game resolution

  • Fixed an issue where the grenade was not synchronizing his position for the clients

  • Fixed an issue where the grenade was not shaking the client's cameras when exploding

  • Fixed an issue where was impossible to buy perks if you enter a lobby and exit go back to the menu
