Chaos was a loving and gentle protector of the Chao, usually passive but fiercely defensive when needed. After his sacred area was attacked 3,000 years ago, he became corrupted by anger and turned into a destructive, vengeful monster bent on ruining the world. Eventually, Super Sonic neutralized him, restoring Chaos to his original peaceful nature.
