In this Character Highlight, we'll analyze the one, the only, Freddy Fazbear! And... well, he's seen better days.
If you haven't seen, there I've also made highlights for Fredbear, Bellabunny and the Rabbit, go check them out if you haven't!

Freddy Fazbear is the classic Freddy you all know and (hopefully) love! He's meant to resemble Withered Freddy, but even more broken and with some small differences, like a different hat shape, visible gum lines and other minor details.
Going a bit more in-depth: the fabric on the torso piece is broken in a way that makes him look skinnier and more athletic, since he'll be doing lots of running. His head shape is meant to feel more "skeletal", as it's partially based on a human skull. His teeth are also in terrible, this isn't for any particular reason I just felt like it.

Since this game is an alternate universe of FNaF (or a "what if" to be precise), it still shares certain elements in common. That’s why he looks similar to his main-universe counterpart. In a way, he is the same character…
...or at least if you believe the "Unwithereds" theory, his design wouldn't make sense under the "Retrofit" theory because, in this universe, he hasn't been retrofitted, he just always looked like this, just not broken down.

As this is a remake of The Other Fredbear's, I kept his design somewhat close to his original look. but I wanted to give him more personality, mostly because I think he's the character with the least personality in the original game...
On the first W.I.P you can see him without any tears in his suit, this isn't exactly how he'd look fully fixed, but it would be pretty close to. Then I went ham and began to make holes and damage in his suit in the second W.I.P. Finally, I gave him the finishing touches and, ta-dah! Freddy now looks like a mix between a bear, a wet dog and a rat... I personally find it quite endearing, actually.

That's all for Freddy Fazbear! Tune in next week for the last Character Highlight, the Endo! Make sure to follow so you don't miss it!
