Welcome to the final Character Highlight! Today we'll go over Metallic Grave... though I'll just call them the Endo, since that name is a bit too much.

I've already made Character Highlights for every other character in the game: Fredbear, Bellabunny, The Rabbit and Freddy Fazbear. Be sure to check those out too!

The Endo is, probably, the weirdest character in the game, mainly because they're the only one who isn't a "classic" character. You've got Freddy, Bonnie, Fredbear and Spring Bonnie... and then there's this weird looking endoskeleton.

Their design is heavily inspired by the FNaF's Endo 01, Endo 02, and especially Ruin's The Mimic. I wanted them to feel like a proper character with real presence, so I studied what makes those designs stand on their own compared to real life animatronic endoskeletons. I concluded that silhouette, compactness and asymmetry were the major contributing factors, so I applied those principles to the design.

The silhouette is bulky, with a large chest and a narrower waist to give them the impression of upper body strength. The head is meant to resemble a grave, much like Freddy's head is meant to resemble a skull. Their arms and legs are asymmetrical, each side sporting different patterns and shapes, even different sizes, for example, one leg is much larger than the other, forcing them to stand awkwardly.

Since this is a remake of The Other Fredbear's, the Endo's design is largely inspired by their original incarnation. In the First W.I.P, I recreated their design and made it feel heavier as the original looked paper thin from the side. In the second W.I.P, I began adding asymmetry to their body and I recreated the chest pattern from the original design using wires. After that, I rigged it and they were ready to go!
