when Chris first came to Earth, when he was 16 years old, he mostly just lived locked up at home 24 hours a week. Like, he just stayed in his bedroom alone drawing, and he rarely went out to talk to his family or anything. He only went out to get something to eat or drink, and he got depressed because of that. He spent about two whole years just like that.

and throughout this whole period Chris has attempted suicide several times. the only thing that stopped him was the fact that he's immortal, but when he spawned a gun with his powers to shoot himself, he gave up immediately.
