just wanted to let y'all know a few things about green sans that are gonna change moving forward

New Game Page

so our current game page is still run by ale, and we've actually gotten in contact with gamejolt about transferring ownership over to me! we've done all we can, it's just up to them to actually do it now.

its actually why im not posting this on the game page

if im going to be honest, i dont have high hopes that gamejolt will actually help me. they told me that they'll only let me know IF and WHEN they actually do it, so im just gonna wait a little bit longer until i actually do anything. i've made a new game page thats still unlisted for the time being in the event they dont do anything, so you guys might see me tell you all to follow the new page.

losing over 6000 followers is gonna stink, but im trying to see this more as an opportunity. before i just kinda posted whatever whenever i wanted so i think with this new page im going to be more professional about what i post, when i post, and how frequently i post.

which leads me into the next segment!

The Game's New Plot

you might remember me saying that green sans isnt going to be a joke game any longer, and i'd like to specify what i meant by that more. while the game is still going to be comedic and have light hearted goofs and gags, i dont want that to be all green sans is. i've been writing a character driven story with unique landscapes and lore that i plan on fleshing out as much as i can. i wont be going over much of the story itself here, but you can expect green sans not to be just a series of fights anymore. i want to make this game the best it can be, and if that means restarting and scrapping a lot of stuff, so be it. this is my project and im going to do what i want with it. if you were expecting memes and nonsense humor, im sorry but i want to do better things with my project.

calling this a joke game feels like a disservice to what ive been planning, so i hope you all understand now what i mean.

Couple Changes

okay im just gonna go over some things that are going to be changed with this new direction

• Totally Serious has been scrapped since it was originally made by Ale. V2 was a cover by Alminum so it still uses his work. A new original theme will be made.

• JACKET TEARIN has been removed from the game due to boiling down to being just filler. Aspects from it like the guns and weaponry will be implemented into the new phase 1. BLAST OFF, the Iron Man phase will be the new phase 2.

• THE JACKSON ACCOUNT V2 will have a completely new vibe and style instead of just being overly reminiscent of Slaughter In The Spotlight. We have new ideas for what it could be like and we want to establish a more distinct identity. A scrapped version that has more SITS vibes is being repurposed for something different we'll show off in the near future.

• The Shopping List Arc will be getting a rewrite in terms of it's story.

• Several characters like G-Money, Mint Papyrus, and The Goblin have been redesigned. All characters will be getting new sprites to better capture their new personalities we've given them.

• A new soundtrack is in the works.

• Promised Sans & Warned have been removed from the game. (duh)

If you are upset about these changes, suck it up. Fangame creators do not owe you anything. This is our project and we're going to develop it the way we wish.
