Hey, it’s been a little while. Last post we made was on April Fools, talking about the new update with a secret (which I wonder if any of you guys have found yet…). Today, I’ve got some news on the progress of POPGOES 2, and I’m really excited to share it with you guys. So, let's go ahead and get straight into it.


New Teaser!

First teaser we’ve posted in awhile. If you couldn’t tell by the image, CAM 7 is finished! This is a little teaser we made to show it off. I think this is the first time we’ve actually had a finished version of CAM 7, or at least one I think looks really good. I want to thank our new environmental modeler, Foxxy, for making it. This puts us one major step closer to finishing the tech demo. Super exciting stuff!


Behind the Scenes

Here’s a little WIP of the South Office. We have a finished model for it, but we’ve decided to make all the rooms and put it into one blend file. Right here you can see the South Office being moved into that blend file. We had to resize a lot of the rooms to make them all fit, which has been a chore. It’s not going to fit perfectly (unfortunately), but we’ll make it work. Besides, it’s going to help make everything a little easier to do.


General Progress

We’ve been working hard as of late, especially our environmental modeler. We now have every warehouse room blocked out! Which is one giant step towards the warehouse being finished! Right now, we are only looking to model the rooms that are absolutely necessary for the game, but it’s looking pretty good. We’ve even started on modeling a new Fritz’ Office! We’ll be working on separating the two maps but it’s still pretty cool to see. I finally got the stupid shader to work in the office with Clickteam. Couldn't have done it without @phasma 's help, so special thanks to him! We’ve also been calculating the total percentage of stuff we need to finish, and right now we are at about 40% completion. We are still working really hard to make this game, so stay tuned for more updates!


Hey everyone, just a little personal talk here. I haven’t really done one of these in a post for awhile now, but thought that I should today. I just really wanna say that the team I’ve been working with is incredible, and they are all working so hard on the game. I haven’t really been able to for a little bit, but I’m so glad I’ve got people able to help now. Makes this stuff a lot easier, and progress comes along a lot quicker. I really enjoy working with them, and I really feel this is the one. I finally feel like this Tech Demo is finally going to be released, after so many years that I’ve spent working on this game. It’s not the full game, mind you, but it’s one step closer. And who knows, maybe after this I’d be willing to try and finish it once more. Anyways, enough rambling.
