Currently working on the game's rendering engine rewrite. Replacing Eevee NEXT code with a much more optimized fast renderer for high quality realtime rendering

This soon will be merged to blender soon!

as we all know Eevee NEXT has been incredibly slow in terms of rendering performance. And I don't regard it anymore as a realtime renderer for either previews or fast rendering alike.

My goal is to up the performance by 3-4X faster by rewriting/replacing inconvenient slow code with much faster accumulation and less complexity, optimizing the pipeline, data flow, other systems and calculations and also implementing new features that would benefit performance a lot! (GPU skinning, GPU occlusion culling, Dynamic mesh streaming more post-rendering techniques for slow hardware like HBAO++, Live texture streaming [this is already being worked on by blender foundation] etc... and I am very excited to get to release this to the public and join the blender team.

Q- How long will this take?

A- Honestly it'll take time. this is not the only project I am working on and I got other things to do in life. So I better expect this to be done around 2026 or 2027

You guys will be updated more when I get major milestones up in progress and I'll share them here!

If you got more questions. I'd love to answer them. I rushed this post cause I am running out of time. so I can better answer in the comments

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
