Day One

Today is March 1st 2013, and the first day of GJ’s 9th contest. I was at school until three o’ clock, and didn’t start working until around four. I worked for about 5 hours, and it’s been rather productive. Today I got a pretty decent flight simulator button system in place, and made a mockup spaceship. Tomorrow I’ll have the full day to work on it (‘cause it’s Friday!), and I plan to work on it as much as I can. tomorrow’s focus will be on getting the player’s controls up and running and seeing if I can get someone to help with modelling (I take way too long to do both modelling and game design).

Overall I’m liking my entry so far, I don’t expect to place being among so many talented game devs, but I hope the end product turns out nicely, and I just love making games under pressure. Good luck to everyone else, I’m going to sleep!
