Dear players, some of you reported that Windows Defender deletes version 4.0.4 after extraction. Here’s how to exclude the folder so you can play. I’ll do my best to improve this.


❌ Issue with version 4.0.4,

Some of you reported that Windows Defender automatically deletes the game as soon as you extract the .zip file of version 4.0.4.
This happens before even launching the game — the .exe is removed right after extraction.

This is a false positive: the game is safe, but Windows Defender is mistakenly flagging it.

🛠️ How to fix it and play

To prevent this, you can add the game’s folder as an exclusion in Windows Defender so the file is not deleted.

📌 Make sure you exclude the folder where you extract the .zip, since Defender deletes the file right there.

Steps:

  1. Open the Start Menu and search for Windows Security.

  2. Go to Virus & threat protection.

  3. Click Manage settings under “Virus & threat protection settings”.

  4. Scroll down to Exclusions and select Add or remove exclusions.

  5. Click Add an exclusion → Folder, then choose the folder where you extracted the game.

✅ After this, Defender won’t remove the file and you’ll be able to play normally.

🔍 Current status

I’ll be checking if there’s any way to reduce or avoid this issue in the future.
For now, this exclusion method is the safest workaround to make sure the game runs.
