Dear RPG Maker devs of GameJolt, I possess a question.

(Sorry if I explained horribly I tried my best.)

So, as most of you know I am developing Lucid. I won't go into details but here is a chart:

lucid_level_chart.png

This is the level chart for Lucid.

A first section of the area (in this case, the Fungal Forest.)

the halfway/resting area. (a town or the like. able to give the player a place to heal, save and restock on items.)

the second section of the Fungal forest (where more story beats and a small puzzle mechanic is added)

a dungeon. (in this case, The Temple of Realms.)

So i need to ask YOU something.

How many maps/rooms should the first half, and second half be?

(example; 5 maps/rooms for first half, 5 maps/rooms for the second half.)

also the dungeon doesn't matter.

I ask because I worry about length. i don't wanna overwhelm or underwhelm the player and this is difficult to balance on my own. i was thinking 5 maps/rooms for first half, and maybe 6-7 for the second half because i have a story beat and 'puzzle' planned.
