Designing!

So after I have started to make designs, I have realized Piper needs a little bit of a change to her design, and as well, I need to design the ghost (Pithella is her name), who might be a problem as she is only 10 and I am too used to drawing around 14 - 20 year olds, and a child’s proportions are pretty much smaller than a 16 year-old’s.

But anyway, I’m currently transitioning her Character Generator generated sprite’s colors over to her design.

Here’s what it looks like:

The bottom of it is the old design which totally doesn’t fit - no gloves or anything indicating ‘She’s a princess!’, and I’m almost there to adding the tiara to signify she’s the princess, but otherwise, without the extra details, she could be looked at as a regular townsperson who is just REALLY rich.

I’m also planning out the puzzles currently, drawing them out in different games and testing them for carrying over to the game when I can.

Please remember, nothing is set in stone yet, and I’m currently in progress to changing the sprites to her design.

Thank you for following the development of piper, a puzzle game.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
