Dev log #8

Hello,

As the game progressed and the story became more complex and tough, as the time passed, I realised that the main character's face was no longer consistent with what I was trying to achieve. With this in mind, it was clear that the character's face should evolve alongside the story, rendering the existing version irrelevant. So, a few weeks ago, I started creating a new face for the character using an entirely new process compared to the old one to get the new face.

This new face is now trying to express youth and innocence, which would suit the fully described and constructed character in the lore. I am not showing the new face in its entirety yet, as I first need to learn how to film and photograph it properly in order to showcase it to its full potential.

so there is a part of the new face

What we can already see in this new face is that it is more lifelike, more expressive, innocent and younger. It also moves away from the old face that detracts from realism. The aim was to convey a sense of gentleness in the eyes, combined with weariness from the passage of time, the character's life in the story, and many other factors.

Tonight, she lets the other half speak.
