Development Update #2

(Mission Zanax and where we're at)

Ok, so this devlog is gonna be different from the others I have made in the past since we'll be going over what's left to be done instead of how much has been done.

So, what's left to be done?

There are three dungeons left to be made in the main story, one of which is almost done being constructed. All bosses have already been programmed for the remaining parts of the story that have been done.

Dungeons left to be constructed:

  • Tri-Tomb (Almost done!)

  • Rowling Castle

  • Satelite Sofia

The postgame content has its quest data added with there being two main quests to do so far and they are:

  • WHOPPER Bunker boss rematches

  • Nei Weapons bosses

  • Battle Carnival

So lets get in-depth:

The postgame (so far) contains three main attractions, the first is a rematch with the bosses you face when going through the four bunkers needed to shut WHOPPER down. These bosses have been upgraded into their EX form so expect a tougher battle.

The Nei Weapons quest involves fighting four beings (Neiblade, Neimage, Neiranger, and Neifighter), defeating them gives you the most powerful weapons in the game which can be brought into New Game+ or...

The Battle Carnival is a juggalo/ICP themed version of Pokemon's Battle Frontier, right now the only thing planned is a Boss Rush containing either story bosses, sidequest bosses, or both (Arranged in the order you'd face them in-game as you unlock them normally). Here you can earn Battle Points and spend them on accessories and stat-boosting items as well as rare healing items.

SO WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE MAIN PLOT IS DONE?

Well, once the final boss and credits have been added, three things will happen:

  1. A pre-release build will go up on the Gamejolt page and will be set to be downloadable on Feburary 19th at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time by then this build will be replaced by the finished game.

  2. Extra content will be added to ensure enough meat is on dem bones

  3. Extensive bug testing to ensure quality (especially when compared to my earlier work, yikes!)

Stuff will be done until the weekend of the 19th in which the final version will be put and released. Achievements will also be unhidden once the pre-release build goes up.

From there the game will be updated with bug fixes and extra content as seen fit and the process of my Gamejolt retirement will begin as per a post that will be made after the 19th.

Thank you and I hope you enjoy this game as much as I do!
