Devlog #1

Hello. I am going to make this very quick and brief.

(In regards to Oblitus Casa 2.0, while it is nearing completion, we are behind our release schedule so this devlog is going up a bit earlier than it should. I heavily advise you all to continue to eagerly wait for 2.0, and please play it on release, which should be very soon. I know how disorganized the team is coming off as right now, but these past few weeks have been very hectic and have proven to me that once again Radiance is unable to keep up with deadlines (which isn't a bad thing). This early post is bad for my OCD, but good for those who are excited about this project, so enjoy.)

Last year I was allowed to take on a peculiar idea I had for a game that is a sort of "spin-off" in the FNaTI universe. This is that project. While I wouldn't personally call it FNaTI 3, as the connections are very loose, it does indeed still have minor ties to the previous two games we have released under the franchise name. I know many of you might be annoyed, but to that group of people, I can assure you, that you will be pleasantly surprised about the game once it releases.

The game is very similar in idea to that of Ultimate Custom Night with a few changes. The game focuses on a linear set of characters rather than multiple characters from various other games. Our take on the "nightmare" is more of a unique one, in that it is something the player can control, and you must beat the set challenges to "escape" from it. I find the concept behind Nightmare Before Disney quite repetitive and uninspired as time passes. I do not find any satisfaction in the official and fanmade attempts to continue its legacy. The new idea brought to the table creates a much more manageable workload for us and allows us to have a lot of fun with the project, all the while keeping it fresh, unique, and innovative. I hope you all will enjoy it as much as we enjoy making it.

Many of you have reached out about voice acting, however, we already have that covered. I am happy to announce that the voice cast is incredibly unique and diverse, and I am thrilled that they have been able to keep strictly quiet about the project. I look forward to letting you all hear them. To tease, I think you will be all happy to hear the return of a certain someone from the game's past voicing our favorite TV Dweller... I know she is excited to see you all again!

With that, we go back into silence. For those of you who may be worried about how long this project will take, don't be. We are already around 75% done, as this is something we started working on early last year. Yes, we're almost done with it. I think I made it very clear that if I had to work on something like this I wouldn't want it to take another 2 years. I'd like to think I'm good at keeping promises. (For the most part)

See you all later. Here is something for your travels:
