Welcome to the latest devlog! We've been working on completing a couple major systems along with an update to the inventory. A lot of models have been completed in the last couple weeks, and we've wrapped up the shop system along with the blacksmith system, which will all be included in the demo. Check out below for all the latest information!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The item shop has been completed with it's model implemented! You can now filter items by world or item type, and you can sort them by price and rarity.
The items for sale will only pull from your inventory, while the shop will pull for the list specified for the shop based on location, world, and player level.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
We have the blacksmith implemented into the game! The blacksmith will repair your items, smelt ores or items, and craft weapons, armor, gear, and items for you. At a price of course.
Repairing items will cost more according to the durability lost on the item. The cost doesn't exceed the price of buying a new item at this time, but that may change for balance purposes later on.
Smelting will take both resources and money to do. Currently as we have been testing all of the functions, there's only a single smelting recipe available. This will expand before the release of the demo.
Crafting is a bit more of a complex system. You will be able to craft some items that you can also buy from the shop, or find in loot chest. There will also be exclusive items only found in the blacksmith. There is a risk and reward with the blacksmith, as sometimes an item may come out in poorer quality compared to the ones found in loot, but it could come in much better quality. At this time there are 9 possible qualities for crafting.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The inventory has been Updated. You can now sort based on rarity, recently required, and search via a search bar. More systems will slowly be added over time, but as of now, we've decided this was a good enough system for the demo and the limited inventory size.
