Devlog #9

2 enemies are at their minimum viable code!

*Read the article for more details*

This devlog will mostly talk about what happened after devlog #8, why it took so long for me to come back to the project and what I have added to the game.

*Skip this if you are allergic to epic nerd talk!*

Let's go back 3 months ago... As a linux user, I wanted to test out another distro since I was discontent with the one I had at the time. So I booted back into Windows to delete the distro... Since my entire game was on that distro, I basically lost the entire project...

*Nerd talk is over!*

So I had to redo everything I had accomplished from scratch, which I did. Then I started working on the vent guy. Then school came back. It has taken all my time and resources.

This month, we got a week off. Since I got the COVID the day we were taking the break, I had to quarantine myself. I got bored and decided to pick the project where I left it.

*This is the fun part!*
Here is what I was able to make this week without going into the weeds:

  • Make minimum viable code for the vent guy and the vent

  • Make minimum viable code for the window guy

  • make minimum viable code for "Jumpscares"

The video shows those additions in more detail. That is it for me! Have a good day / evening / night!
