Devlog IV. : Press F to Configure!

Version 0.3.2 (Part 1/2) is out now! This one’s less about flashy features and more about giving the game a solid foundation to build on. We're talking smoother gameplay, cleaner menus, and fewer UI headaches. Basically, it's the spring cleaning update, just slightly cursed.

Let’s break it down:

🎮 Interaction Rework (Now With Less Lag!)
The interaction system got a big under-the-hood overhaul. It should now run a lot smoother, especially on older machines. Less stutter, more butter.

🎛️ Settings Menu Overhaul
The Settings Menu has been exorcised and rebuilt. It’s still a work in progress, but we’ve made a ton of progress:

  • 🔊 Volume controls are in! Turn it down before you scare your cat.

  • 🖱️ Sensitivity controls are back! Finally.

  • UI bugs? Fixed. Probably. Hopefully. Okay maybe.

📉 Dropping Strength Nerfed
Things no longer get launched across the map when you let go of them. Objects now fall like normal objects... Finally...

🌆 Menu Level Added (WIP)
There's now a proper menu level with an actual backdrop. It's not final, but hey, it's not just a void anymore!

📦 What’s Next? (Part 2 Preview)
This update is just the groundwork. Part 2 of 0.3.2 is gonna be a big one—we’re talking new tools, actual systems, and some long-awaited mechanics that’ll change how the game plays entirely. It’s the one with all the fun stuff, trust me. I might drop a preview next week, or the week after... Regardless, stay tuned

(Hint: ever feel like prying open new opportunities? Or maybe surveilling your surroundings...? 👀)

🐛 Known Bugs (Still Haunting the Place):

  • Imbir still occasionally gets stuck underground, but he figured it out for the most part...

  • Item holding can be a bit choppy on the client side. I'm working on smoothing it out.

  • ⚙️ You can’t change volume or sensitivity from the main menu... they only work after entering the game. It’s on the fix list!

That’s it for Part 1! Thanks again for testing, reporting, and sticking around. The weirdness is only just getting started...
(Hopefully I don't lose my mind before I finish part 2)
