Version 0.3.2 (Part 2/3) is here! This is the fun half of the update. Tools, trees, and terrifying menu levels. The foundation was set in Part 1, and now I'm building something much stranger on top of it.
Let’s get into it:
🔧 New Tool: The Crowbar
It’s here. It’s metal. It opens stuff.
Use it to pry open doors and opportunities (or just feel cool swinging it around).
Fully networked, fully operational, and only slightly cursed.
🪵 Planks!
You can now barricade doors with items.
It's like Fortnite, but slower, sadder, and made by one very tired person.
🌲 Trees Now Wiggle (Like Real Ones!)
Previously: still as stone.
Now: gently swaying with the wind, like nature intended.
A small change, but it makes the forest feel more alive and more ominous.
🖼️ Menu Level Rework
The menu level was completely rebuilt. Better lighting, better layout, and less “floating in limbo” energy.
It now features… doors? (just kidding)
The menu may be hiding secrets.
⚙️ Settings Menu Fixes
Volume and sensitivity sliders now actually do things once you're in-game.
Still working on making them function from the main menu.
A bunch of UI bugs were hunted down and (probably) fixed.
🚪 Doors: Now Functional
Doors now open, close, and get barricaded.
They also make sounds!
Add your own dramatic creaks or slams if you're into modding.
🗺️ Level Selector Added
Finally, you can pick your level instead of being thrown into the default one.
Also supports modded/custom maps. Go wild.
🧪 Showcase Level
A new test level made specifically to showcase/preview what the final product will resemble.
Features a custom Guest AI with unique behavior.
Great for messing about… or just bullying the AI.
💰 Money System + Vandal AI (W.I.P. Teaser)
Started laying the groundwork for a money system and Vandal AI.
The Vandal is less “run and hide” and more “break everything and laugh about it.”
Still in early stages, but the ideas are already spiraling out of control.
🐛 Known Bugs (Still Lurking):
Imbir (the guest) still occasionally goes underground like he’s digging for secrets.
Client-side item holding is a bit jittery.
Settings don’t work from the main menu yet.
Rare bug where doors give up on life and stop working. I honestly have no idea...
Thanks for testing, reporting, and sticking with the chaos so far. Working solo means progress can be a bit uneven, but things are moving forward, and getting stranger by the week.
The update is probably going to finish the game, so that's why I chose to make it three parts. The third and final part will bring the actual level, and have a conclusive...? ending for the game. Sorry
Stay tuned… or don’t.
The Guest doesn’t care.
