Devlog Schedule Update... Again

Hey guys, it's been a bit longer than we expected! Apologies but we have got some updates to give regarding future GORE devlogs!

So... Why the huge delay between devlogs?

Well basically it comes down to two factors: Work and Home life. This applies to both myself and Caleb.

Speaking for Caleb, he's been incredibly busy with work and adjusting to a new schedule. I cant really speak on his behalf, but I know that he's been been working on GORE when he can however hasn't really had time for big devlog writeups.

Speaking for myself, I've been incredibly busy with the final weeks of my college course and getting into University. This has been chaotic to say the least and would be stressful enough by itself... But, also, minor thing, I'm also having a baby in about 7 weeks! I don't know if I've mentioned that before. It's a pretty big deal and i'm bricking it haha

So yeah, all this is to say that GORE's monthly devlog schedule has been put on ice. We'll instead be switching to an "as and when" schedule.

Hope you guys understand! This doesn't mean we're not making the game or anything changed. We're still working hard and will have more news soon!

Pretty good look at some of the blood effects with the dismemberment enabled. Still needs some work, but it's going well!

We've been working hard on GORE since the last devlog and wanted to provide a quick update on when to expect the next ones going forward.

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

Finished work on the emotions of a new character for the tank universe

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
