please respect the developers wishes and keep BnP dead

I think it's completely fine to be inspired by it but modding it really isn't a good idea considering you'd be not only disrespecting those involved but also just stealing assets and claiming them as your own by doing so (which is just a bad idea since stealing is kinda frowned upon universally)

I'd honestly just go ahead and try and make something new if you want to continue the ideas, I feel at this point people are doing this more out of spite than actual passion, which makes me sad since undertale is a game about forgiveness. We're all just people passionate about a game, it's kinda counterproductive to fight with each other over something as trivial as this over a year later, especially when it affects real people.

If there's any advice I give, it's just to be creative and work on your craft, if you aren't happy with your work now there's always time to practice until you're happy. Whether that's Art, Music, Spriting, Writing, or Coding, part of the fun is making something, and being proud after the fact. Maybe it won't always turn out great, but in the grand scheme of things the fact you had the will to create something and did it on your own is something worth celebrating.

That being said, If this doesn't change anyone's mind, I hope it at least gives a new perspective. Have a Good morning/Evening/Night.
