I am very well aware of the reputation that the Loud House and its fandom has gotten over the years. This is something that I've been thinking about ever since I started developing this project. Without going into too much detail for those who aren't in the loop (trust me, it's a whole rabbit hole and not something that I want to get into detail about in a single Gamejolt post) it's really a Google Search or YouTube video away if you want to know more. But basically put; this entire show's reputation is in a very negative spot online, due to its creator and fanbase. And it also goes without saying, but I don't condone any of the awful things that the fanbase and its creator are well-known for.

So, why did I make this game then if I knew that this IP was pretty unanimously hated? Well, a few reasons. Firstly, I make most of my games based off of dumb random stuff that I like and off of ideas that I get. And yes, you can consider me as someone who enjoys the Loud House. I wouldn't call myself a fan, but I generally like the first few seasons of the show. It's the reason why I made this game in the first place.

Second, this game is partially a Mr. Krabs's Night of Terror situation (a dumb fun game that doesn't take itself very seriously). However, it doesn't define the entire game, and without giving away any details, there are some aspects of the game that will take itself more seriously, as this game is technically a part of the bigger overarching story I'm trying to tell with some of my newer installments.

Lastly, and this one is more of a dumb excuse than anything, but I noticed that there were no Loud House x FNaF fangames that were playable, which really surprised me (this fanbase has made almost anything and everything imaginable, you'd be shocked) so I thought it'd be kind of funny to make one. Obviously try to at least make it competently made, but not take its development too overly serious.

So in any regards, I found it necessary to make an actual statement regarding this game's announcement, as I fully anticipate this announcement to be met with at least some negative reception. I would be really surprised if this didn't happen. All that I'm asking of you all is to try and at least give this game a chance when it does release and critique it then, instead of simply bashing on it just because of the IP its based around. Judge the game based off how it is as a game.

I don't really know what's gonna happen when this announcement goes live, and to be frank, I'm a bit nervous to even announce this game, once again, given the reputation of the IP its based off of. However, I'm fully committed to making this game and I hope that you all can give it a chance when it comes out. It won't be that far off.
