Don't Kill Her won a contest !

Here’s some awesome news for Don’t Kill Her ! The project has been awarded a grant !
The contest (Call for Projects : Swiss Games) took place in Switzerland, among 47 other projects, DKH and 6 others projects were selected. What does it mean ?

It means a lot. Here’s some feedback I got from the jury :
“The expressive and sensitive approach to the concept is courageous. We are looking forward to seeing the high concept described in the documents expressed in the completed projects.”
And this is what really mattered to me. So it seems like the main core mechanic of the game, its very experimental nature, hasn’t been considered like a total stupid fancy obsession of a total retarded pseudo-arty dev. (Like i’m sometimes afraid of). SO I’M SURE NOW, IT CAN WORK.

The other fun part, is that Don’t Kill her will be presented at the Neuchatel International Fantastic Film Festival, from July 5 to July 13. It will be part of a dedicated exhibition. People coming will be able to play a demo. I’m really excited to see them playing Don’t Kill Her, and to hear their feeling/feedbacks. I’m sure I’ll learn a lot of it.

So that’s all for now. I’m still working a lot on the development and it goes quite well. It still takes a lot of time, but I really feel like it’s getting better and better. I can’t resist to show you just a little piece of something. It’s about the new area I just finished. Here it is :

Thanks for reading. Next news would be after the exhibition ! I’ll try to gather some impressions from the visitors.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
