The man tried to reach for his gun slowly, and pointed it at the center between the two yellow eyes.

But then, the arm of the creature slammed into him, sending him into a tree trunk, dislocating his shoulder.

”GAHH! FUCK!” The force of the impact caused him to fire his gun in the air. The creature stepped out of the cave. It is a large wolf-like beast, standing on two legs. The color of its fur matched that of the tuft the man found. The creature showed faint signs of humanity. Yet, it was still very difficult to see because of the darkness, as if a shadow was looming over it.

Jesus Christ! This thing is huge! It’s at least 7 feet tall! The man sat in shock as he fumbled with his rifle.

The creature pounced at the man, attempting to slash at his chest, before the man rolls out of the way in the nick of time.

fuck! My shoulder… c’mon, just blast right between the eyes! The man still fumbled with the gun.

he picked the gun up with his left hand, shaking as he aims it at the wolf-like monster.

”rrrrgghhh…..” the beast growled. It walked slowly, as if scared of the gun.

”nghh…. Oh yeah? You like this thing?” The man taunted. The beast suddenly became enraged, and prepared to kill the man.

but the man pulled the trigger, and the bullet pierced the shoulder of the beast. It howled in pain, before running off.

”heheh… how’s that for karma, bitch?” The man scoffed.

dammit, now I gotta deal with this shoulder. The man heard trees falling down and pounding sounds, as if the beast was raging elsewhere.
