“Ngh… oh, come on, Olivia…. I can’t just have a nice uninterrupted sleep?”

”nope. Besides, I know you always want to be with me during the morning.”

”heheh…. Guess I do, don’t I….”

September 26th, 2000. It was a regular morning for Pike Warren. Being awoken by his girlfriend that he’s been with for 3 years, living in a small two bedroom apartment, it wasn’t luxury, but it kept the two happy.

”hey, I’m gonna go get some fresh air, Olivia. Can you make some breakfast? I’ll be back in a little bit.”

”sure thing! Have fun!”

as Pike was outside, he found it strange there was not a soul to be seen. The apartment building they lived in was in the middle of a city, why wouldn’t there be people up and moving?

is everyone staying home today, or something? Why is everyone gone? He thought.

He looked around the apartment building, seeing if the other residents are there, but yet again, no one.

…..something’s up. He thought.

”Olivia! Come out here!” He shouted.

”Why? What’s up?” She was confused.

”something weird is going on. I don’t know what it is…” he responded.

Olivia walked out of the apartment to see what Pike was talking about.

”isn’t it weird how no one is here? Even the other apartments are empty!”

”you mean, there’s no one anywhere? Did something happen overnight?
”thats a possibility. Maybe everyone left, except for us….”

”everyone… it’s just strange. They’re all gone.”
