Here in this series of drawings, I simulate a few ideas. First up is a new "Checkpoint indicator" some games have, Page 1 seemed like a good place to put it and I wanted to put my own spin on it. I may put this in other future adaptations if it seems fitting.
The second to last picture simulates Viola in a crouching position and also a reminder that you can use your ears to sense things without seeing them. Viola follows a humming sound so I thought that this could resemble a sound-dependent section, the last picture simulates Closed Captions that some games have where they point you in the direction of sounds.
I'm not sure if I'll go into detail like this for future "Art as Gameplay" drawings. Maybe if there's something interesting or y'know, sticks out from the norm.
