Enemy Expansion Build (Version 0.3.2) is almost live!

Well, a brand new update is about ready to go! While it's probably not gonna be the biggest in regards to content, it certainly makes the overworld much more interesting.

New Content:

-A new challenger has appeared: Shadow Freddy!

-The framework for the Mysterious Mine can now be explored!

(There's even two entry points to check out, and one of the gold chests has found it's permanent home down there...)

-Three previously functional chips are now properly in:

Headstart Defense, Strength and Speed!

(Note: Due to it's intended spot in Lilygear Lake currently being cut off, Headstart Speed has been moved to a more accessible spot.)

-9 classic enemies have made their arrival!

(Albeit with their original sprites and without any of their unique attacks):

Bouncepot, Gearat, Totemole, Chop-N-Roll, Boxbyte, Flan, Quarry, Metalman and Goldmine!

-Two new enemies have come to terrorize the fields and mines:

Coldcut and 5CR4PP3D!

-A brand new challenge has arrived in the form of a mini-boss! There is a chance that instead facing off against of a challenger, you'll encounter one of the fully possessed residents of Animatronica. The chances of fighting a mini-boss increases with each additional character unlock.

-Swapped out the battle backdrops for the original set (until I can make a much more accurate set)

-Cleared out some intrusive foliage

-Found a spot for an odd creation

Fixes:

-Fixed a problem with the game not saving the checkpoint for the Dusting Fields

-Fixed a bug where chips could be equipped multiple times

I'll be sure to fix any issues that I didn't catch on my initial playtesting, and down the road there will be plenty of balances/changes done for the recent enemy additions.

Hope you all enjoy this little update!

'Till next time!

Got a (mostly stable) demo ready for the occasion!

Can it be done?

(Also, Happy New Year)

That time of year again.

I might be having too much fun with this process...

While I chip away at the code for XL, I might as well show off the fruits of another thing I had tinkered with: modding custom music into Bionicle Heroes.

Suppose it's rude to come back doing polls without showing some sort of progress for it.

Still have to address a few tweaks to layering and test some other sidequests, but I think that we're back on track again.

This whole "making a new battle frame" situation does give me an excuse to add some things I had been putting off for far too long.

Turns out what the game actually needed was for me to take a proper break from development and enough time to realize what I had broken.

(It was the values tied to IDing what foe it'd be.)

It'll likely need more testing, but we're back in buisiness!
