epic hot take:


traditional rpgs are kinda bad

the gameplay is boring and repetitive and a lot of them require you to grind in order to do anything

a lot of them are just walking around until uh oh a bad guy appeared, time to either one hit k.o. them or discover that you need to go back and grind for two hours
