Eros Hemiptera, more commonly referred to as "Love Bugs", are a species of carnivorous humanoid insects. They have four oculi, hind being larger than front but all four are blind but still serve purpose via providing thermal vision, four feathered wings capable of extreme velocity, a modified ovipositor and six appendages, though the two hind serve as its legs, making them bipedal, an exoskeleton similar to an ordinary vespa, and feathers similar to an ordinary columbidae. Preferred prey consists of only mammals of any size or variety. Once prey has been targeted, the Eros Hemiptera will pursue and attempt to sting said prey. If successful, the subject will then receive high levels of both dopamine and, but mostly, oxytocin. Not only leaving said prey in a state of delusion and confusion, but making them grow strong affection to the Eros Hemiptera, lowering their guard and become willing, the opportune time for the Eros Hemiptera to incapacitate the prey and commence consuming said prey. It should be known that every member of the species rips out the myocardium of the subject and then will commence to consume the subject. Why the myocardium is left untouched as the rest of the subject is devoured is unknown.
