Espio the Chameleon is a serious, disciplined, and intelligent ninja detective with a strong sense of justice. He is calm, stubborn, and sometimes self-obsessed, thriving in dangerous situations to hone his skills. Espio balances out his more optimistic teammates with his no-nonsense attitude and is ruthless against villains. Despite his reserved demeanor, he values tradition, is fluent in many languages (including Japanese), and is thorough and driven in his work, though reluctant to admit flaws.
