Previous Feature Overview - Player Customization
Props are overworld objects created by players, that can be used in roleplaying. Some props have unique properties and some are purely cosmetical

They can be accessed through the menu as the last option.
To create a prop, you need prop tokens, I will explain later the need for this. You can get prop tokens from daily quests, the shop and by other unannounced means.

There are currently 33 different props. This number will be increased in the future.

After picking a prop, you get to choose its position. You can place it anywhere around you as long as it's not in a wall/collision.

When you place down your prop, you and others are able to interact with it (if it can be interacted with). For example: you can sit down on the bench.
For the moment there are no special character animations (like sitting) but that's something we will do for sure in the future.

If you picked a wrong prop or you just want to change it, simply go back to the menu and do it!
Changing the prop doesn't take any prop tokens.
It's important to note that you can only have one prop at a time.

I'm not going to showcase all the different props, however my favourite is the Piano. Obviously you can't hear it over the gif, but you can actually play it. If you press (Z) it plays a random note but if you press (1) - (6) you can play specific notes and actually create songs.
There is Piano A and Piano B, they play different range of notes so if you're dedicated and coordinate with someone you can actually play complex songs lol.

or if you want you can just have a hot dog stand.
Why are there prop tokens?
Even though you can only have one prop at a time, if everyone in a room of 20+ people created a prop, you would literally see nothing on the screen. Props have no collisions but that obviously doesn't solve the problem.
Prop tokens are a temporary solution to this problem, they will be always available in shops so as long as you have some GOLD, you're fine.
Props are just the beginning of my "create your own world" plan. I am really glad I got this feature working. After testing it a bit with others we found it really fun but they definitely still need more variety (or not, it's really up to your creativity), in future updates I will most likely add some sprites from Deltarune as now it's mainly stuff from UT.
