February Devlog [2026]

Hello once again everyone! I'm here with the 2026 February Devlog. As I stated in my last one, I will try to maintain these on a monthly basis as to give you guys a consistent set of updates on my current projects. So without further ado, let's start with:

Five Nights at The Loud House

If you guys saw my announcement on February 12th, you would know that the identity of [REDACTED] (which showed up on the last devlog) was Five Nights at The Loud House. I emplore you all to go read that announcement regarding the game if you haven't already.

The link to it can be found here: https://gamejolt.com/p/redacted-reveal-77fuknvt

So anyways, regarding progress on this game for those who are following it, I am very happy to announce that it's really close to finishing development. Pretty much the only major things left to implement are the achievements and tying in Gamejolt API into it, among a few very small things outside of that. Afterwards, the game will be finished and I will have one last bout of beta testing done by the testers.

So with that being said, I feel pretty confident in announcing a release date for this game, that being:

March 25th, 2026

So that's just under a month away. For those who are interested in the game, I sincerely hope that you all are ready and enjoy this game when it comes out! I've been putting a lot of time and effort into it and find it to be on the same level of quality as Headspace Night. So mark your calendars for March 25th, as that will be when the game releases!

Now with the big one out of the way, let's move onto:

Goofy Silly Encounters

Some of you might recognize this title, and might also recognize that this game has been pretty dead for the course of 1.5-2 years now. The last post on its game page was posted 2 years ago, and no new info on it has been released.

...at least, that would be the case if you aren't in the FNaF Max Mode List Discord.

Some of you on that Discord likely know that I've been talking about GSE a little bit in there, and that's because GSE will be back in development after FNATLH and the Headspace Night Android Port releases. So what can I ultimately say about GSE? Well, a few things are certain.

  1. The game will be completely rebuilt from the ground up from its original state that was made in 2023-2024. This is because my goals and views for this game have changed drastically since then. The game will be much different from how it plays out in the original version, but it's a type of change that I believe will be beneficial overall, and that you all will enjoy.

  2. This will be my most ambitious project to date, and by a long shot. GSE will not only have a dedicated campaign, but it will have several additional game modes on top of it. I won't give away too many details yet, but there will be a plethora of content in GSE that will make for a bunch of replayability, which I find to be a common weakness that most FNaF fangames tend to have.

  3. This game, for once in any of my projects, will have its own OST. That's right, a Matt Warkoski game having original music? Unheard of! I will likely be searching for composers to help me with this, but I'm gonna try my hand at seriously learning FL Studio in anticipation for this project. I'm looking forward to the music in this game turning out well, but only time will tell on that one.

All in all, GSE will be very big and ambitious, and a project that I'm gonna try to hype up. It's not just gonna be another IP-based fangame like MKNOT or Headspace Night, it'll be something much bigger.

Alright, let's move onto the last course of discussion today...

Headspace Night Android Port

I also talked about this briefly during my last devlog. Not much progress has been made since then, but this will be the next project that will be finished after FNATLH's release! I'm aiming to get more significant progress done for it by the March devlog. As I mentioned before, though, only time will tell on how my progress on some of these things will go. But the port is definitely happening, I'm committed to getting at least one of my games out on Android, even if it's just Headspace Night. I'll be satisfied with that, given the positive reception Headspace Night received.

So that will do it for this devlog. I hope that the FNATLH release date and GSE revival has gotten you guys excited for what's to come in the future! I've definitely enjoyed making these silly projects, so thanks for supporting me for as long as you guys have, even if I can't quite show it through a computer, haha.

As always, take care of yourselves, and I'll see you guys pretty soon!
