Final version!

I just released the final version of 80 Seconds Cave. This version brings lots of bugfixes, including a fix for the bug in which ugly edges are shown between the tiles (please contact me with a screenshot if you still experience this bug through). The filesize is much smaller as well (the zip is only 3.4 MB now!). There are several small improvements as well, like as extra names for heros and historians. With this update, I also added new screenshots and a page header. I just updated again to add proper support for fullscreen which makes the game work for smaller screens.

I will probably update again if a big bug is found, of course.

Warning! If you played the old version, you will have to move your savefiles to a different location (because of a change in the way GameMaker works). This is fortunately quite simple and works like this:

  1. Open the new version and close it directly. This creates a folder we’ll need later.

  2. Open the directory %localappdata%\80 seconds cave. The easiest way to do this (Windows 7 and maybe Vista) is clicking the start button, typing (or pasting) “%localappdata%\80 seconds cave\” (without the “”) and pressing ENTER. Copy all files in this directory (Ctrl+A Ctrl+C).

  3. Open the directory %localappdata%\80_seconds_cave. Paste all files you just copied (Ctrl+V). If Windows asks whether you want to overwrite, overwrite.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Runestones: from concept to in-game model🗿

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

New challenges & new effects!

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
