The Destroyed Clone is trying to scare you up!

"The Player/Avatar" can hear the Character's breathing
while checking the Rooms, as well...
(When the Character is very close, literally on the camera).
The camera has a Night Vision mode to save the power usage.
Also, perhaps it can prevent some other Characters ability.
(Against '27 Golden Sonic "Memorize" and Shadow Sonic "Midnight").

Spoiler Alert:
Instead of putting the phone down and up, the Night Vision is a faster solution
of preventing the camera's "Screen Blunder" or surrounding "Dark Blear".

I didn't make just a simple fanart, but decided to add as well an animations
and mix of some sound effects for the creepy atmosphere.
