Flops

Flops is a game that I made after reading a chapter in a book that helps you get more familiar with Game Maker Studio. I’m already decent with GM:S but I’m not the best with coming up with ideas. This book fortunately is helping me fix that problem.

It’s just a basic platformer with a grid feeling movement. As any basic platformer you have your hazards and your pickups. Just get all the gold and you can explore the whole cave! A whopping 10 levels of predictability. I’ve played this so many times now while making it, that I can finish half the levels with my eyes shut.

It’s late (technically early since it’s 9 am) and I need some sleep. I’m going to implement the Gamejolt API tomorrow so their will be trophies to get and what not. This game isn’t really meant to be the next rockstar in games. It’s just a simple project that I intend to see through.

I still plan on working on Swunter some more but I started working on this after reading and one thing lead to another. I’ll be back on Swunter in a day or two when this project is finished since Swunter is a bigger project.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you enjoy Flops.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
