Scott On 2021-06-16 Announced He will be retiring from making games. Well No-one knows what's next for Scott The community wishes him well with a twitter hashtag Titled And Scott wrote this On his personal website “I’ve had a blessed, fulfilling, and rich career,” The following is pasted from the article "Five Nights At Freddy’s Creator Retires Amid Controversy" (kotaku.com) "Cawthon recently came under fire after financial records showed that he had been making donations to controversial U.S. politicians, including former president Donald Trump and Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell, for a number of years. Cawthon responded to the public backlash by reiterating his beliefs while also claiming to have love for the LGBTQ+ members of his fanbase, despite supporting powerful people who have done everything they can to harm them. Here is more text from the website " Although Scott has stated that This doesn’t mean the end of Five Nights at Freddy’s, however, as Cawthon plans to choose someone else to oversee “running the show.” A new installment in the long-running series, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, is expected to come out later this year and a movie is in production at Blumhouse.

When Chipper and Sons Lumber Co. came out, the majority of people complained that the animations in it looked like "Creepy Animatronic dolls". The poor reception of his game sent Scott Cawthon into a deep depression, before realizing he could take advantage of the criticism by applying it into Five Nights At Freddy's, which is now his most notable and popular work.
