Frontier Quest Update v0.3.0 brings the music!

Each area of the frontier has its own theme, and as you upgrade the town you'll find the music develops too!

Today's update adds background music to all playable areas in Frontier Quest!

We hope you enjoy listening to the progression of the music as you progress through the game.

New Content

  • Added background music to the game

  • Added snow particles to the mountain area

  • Implemented a temporary run function (hold Left-shift)

Changes

  • In the frontier, signs at the end of the road now automatically load the next scene without interaction

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where you could obtain multiples of Traveler's Backpack

  • Adjusted chest spawn position so chests don't look like they're floating sometimes

  • Fixed a bug where UI would become uninteractable in certain scenarios while exploring the frontier

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
