This post is specifically created for both my cancelled FNaF Projects, Rockys and The Circus.
Rocky's
My first scratch FNaF Game using the bare scratch website, I switched this to Turbowarp when I found out it existed. The game had okay models to my standards but is extremely bad when comparing it to the likes of more experienced developers. If finished, the game had no lore and would have been a blatant copy of FNaF 1. It was cancelled because my old Laptop had to be factory reset and it contained the Turbowarp file Rocky's. I believe it was a good sign that if I had continued that way, my models would still look a lot worse than it is currently.
All the screenshots were lost in my old laptop, the only remnants being the trailer voiced by @BonoDev (thank you so much Bono!) I also have the models but it is in Canva form.

I cringe a bit looking back at these but they still have a certain charm to them.

The Circus
Yes, unfortunately. The Circus was my best project yet, it had my best animatronic models, and my best environments, the best page design I could muster up and I put an immense amount of effort into it. But then...why? Why did I cancel such a promising game? Because it was too complex, I was extremely stupid in thinking I could implement so many features into an FNaF fan game when I never released any before.
Why was this a problem? Well, because the more games you release, the more you know what your full potential is, and so you can set reasonable promises for your game, not overwork yourself, blah, blah, blah
But I haven't even released a single game before and I set so many promised features for The Circus that it became overwhelming, and each time I encountered a bug, it would take me about a week or two to fix it, not to mention how much I had to skim through YouTube to find relevant sources which could help me. I was just overwhelmed, and I felt stupid, sure, I could quietly remove features from the page, but then that would make me feel terrible, and it enhanced my demotivation in developing fan games.
I felt that I had overpromised, Simple. I was dumb in thinking I could create a game this large, thinking that the problems would simply go away if I waited long enough. Not to mention that some people have been stealing my ideas and I feel like I've lost a lot of friends here.
Below, I've linked all the devlogs of The Circus,

The Circus also had lore, and I will post the unfinished document here:

What will you do next?
At this moment, I'm creating my own, Individual project called 'Motorized', a racing Team Management simulator on Turbowarp inspired by Formula 1 and takes place in the 1990's.

Team selection, WIP.
I plan to finish the game and upload it to Gamejolt and Itch whenever I complete it.
Will I be actively posting here? No. Mental Health >>> Stupid Controversies on GameJolt. Will I still be on GameJolt? Probably. Will I still be in the FNaF Community (as an enjoyer) Absolutely. Will I ever try my hand at FNaF fan games again? Time will tell. Will I ever switch to another Engine? Yes, maybe Godot but for now I'll use Turbowarp.
That's all, ciao.
