It's been a while since the last update of the game I know, I'm a disaster, but now with the game page revealed I can show you guys what I concider the 1st Serious Devlog of Hive Madness.

I'm going to explain a lot of things so be prepared, this will take a while

WHY THE GAME TRAILER IS IN SPANISH AND LOOKS BAD!?

I'm sure this is the biggest question everyone currently has about the game and its trailer at the Fangames Horizons event.

Even if you don't believe me, the trailer was meant to be in English at first, however a few things happen. I couldn't find good voice actors for the English version of the trailer, even if Sillykat already knows English, i wanted the voices to feel authentic and good and not like a Spanish guy struggling to say something in another language also without ignoring the fact that the other voice actor doesn't speak English very well.

Other than that, the event deadline was more closer than expected, we were supposed to deliver the game trailer even earlier than expected, we were forced to rush the trailer at the point to make it feel... weird.

I'm very sorry we weren't able to make a trailer owith the quality of the og jolly saga.

Although I'm still grateful to @DaylenTvGaming and @Fangame_Horizons for accepting a trailer that isn't really good and even accepting a fangame that is nothing compared to bigger and better games like Scott Zimmerman's Welcome to freddyland or Terror Time to sleep (which are games that you really should check).

I am currently looking for voice actors to do an English version of the trailer so everyone can enjoy it properly.

I promise that the next trailers and the content of the game itself will be 10 times better.

WHY JOLLY IS REDISGNED AGAIN!?

If you watched the Fazbear Gameverse 3 event you would have noticed that Jolly has been revamped and redesigned... again, this was done just to make a more appealing model of the character as the old one wasn't that great to be honest + the fact that, for reasons of lore, the model now looks quite similar to Phase 2 Jollibee.

I hope this doesn't make anyone angry or confused, we think this new version of jolly is much better than the previous one and we like it.

We are currently planning what we are going to do with the old model, MAYBE we release it so you guys can do what whatever you want with it, however this is just an idea and will probably be changed to something else.

WHY THERE WEREN'T NEWS FOR SO LONG!?

Simple, we went into a Silent development.

We thought it would be better if we kept most of the progress secret, the game was never dead or on hold, it was progressing all this time.

Which is the current state of the game!?

Hive Madness is close to 1 year of being developed and we have to say that the game right now... It's only 10% done.

I know this sounds stupid or even disappointing (because it is), but please understand that right now we are absolutely focused on visuals of the game to make it look as good as we can, we barely have a few concepts coded and several assets. finished but they are not really important.

Probably, if all goes well and we magically speed up the development of the game, we'll be able to release it this year, but I wouldn't get my hopes up about that as it has a very good chance of being available in 2024.

We aren't going to get on much details on much stuff since we are going on a slow and silent development, however, expect a character model reveal really soon...
