Hello Sanctuary seekers!!
Just a quick update to let you know I am still surviving and that we have a new team member.
Joe Tattershall will be helping us knock the kinks out of our story line, writing scripts and also helping with the overall design of the game.
We’ve been working hard on the zombie AI and it’s now quite clever.
The zombies navigate the huge 25km square map ver well including walking in and out of buildings and using the stairs.
They spend most of the time standing idle or shuffling around the map until they see or hear the player.
When they see the player they give chase.
If the player gives them the slip theu go to the players last known position and search for him.her.
If they hear you firing a weapon or breaking a window they WILL come and investigate the noise…You have been warned..
I’ve also added a watch to the game so the player can see the current time, weather and temerature.
This will all be important information in the finished game.

This week I’m working on the Dialogue and quest system while Joe writes scripts for them.
