Gameplay proposal! Challenge runs

I mean, why not, right?


So you've finished the game. You got all the chips, all the bytes, all the skins, all the endings, all the universes... now what?

Do you just call it quits? Leave it all behind? Usually, that's what happens. That's what should happen, anyway, and probably many people, satisfied, will end much sooner than this. But what about the over-achievers in the bunch, the ones who want something more?

Well... Why not present them with different challenges? But what is a challenge? I intend it as a game modifier with set clear conditions. This could mean a lot, but this is how I interpret it. But here, I'll show you some examples, from the more obvious to maybe something more special (clear condition will in general be "Clear the game in Hard Mode", so get to the end of Hard Mode, unless otherwise specified):

The Classic

  • Nuzlocke: of course, how can we forget the challenge? The modifier (for those of you who don't know) is that, whenever a team mate dies, they are permanently dead

The ones thought for this game

  • Dungeons&DeeDees: a twist on the FNAF World RPG formula, now with 20 sided dice. The modifier is that your attack is now subject to a 20 sided die. If the die rolls:

    • 7 or under, you don't get to use that move

    • between 8 and 15, you get to attack (yay)

    • between 16 and 20, you will attack twice!

  • Wrong Universe: whoops, looks like all the other universe characters got stuck in the FNAF universe instead, and vice versa! Damn faulty programming! The modifier is, of course, that all the characters available are from other universes and not the FNAF one, while in the other universes you only have access to FNAF ones

  • Sequential Unlock: oh, you wanna unlock THE MIMIC, but you didn't unlock Plushbabies? Too bad. The modifier is that you can't unlock a character unless all the characters behind it have been fully unlocked, skins and all (you can't get busted characters without paying a hefty sum)

  • Permanently Dead: ah, yes, the start of an adventure! Where you can get to play as... eight tombstones? Modifier is that your team is permanently dead, so it can't use moves, but the gravestones can crack and have a health bar (like their normal counterparts, so you are unlocking health bars and not characters), so your team can die. It's essentially a "let the chips and bytes deal damage" run

  • Arena (inspired by @Glaudius ): Fazbear Hills... thank god it's a safe heaven, where the only thing you can encounter is a full on screw team with JJ, Phantom Foxy, Phantom Chica and the jump-scares from Foxy. The modifier is that the enemies encountered are characters you usually unlock, skins and all, up until that area (imagine going against a gift boxer), much like FNAF World: Simulator

  • Custom Challenge (inspired by @Glaudius ): forget all about those made up challenges: nobody knows what they want more than you do! That's right: make your own challenge! Choose between the following modifiers and clear conditions (or load them in from wherever you want! It's like a walled sandbox!):

    • Allowed characters + skins (only Blacklights? Only FNAF AR skins? You choose!)

    • Allowed enemies + custom enemies you can load in, moves and all (no new moves can be made however, but imagine a full Chipper's Revenge enemy team)

    • Custom enemy teams and bosses (wanna fight Cawthon every three steps? Now you can! Wanna fight the real Cawthon too? If you got a PNG... now you can!)

    • Allowed clear conditions (beat the game? Get a certain amount of tokens? You name it!)

  • Scrap Lap (thought alongside Ennard's Scrap Shop suggestion): all the animatronics got too cocky and died to the first Auto-Chipper . So now you're left with the scraps from Ennard's shop (that's the modifier: use only Ennard's Scrap Shop skins and animatronics). The clear condition is to clear the FNAF universe in hard mode

The more standard challenge runs (inspired by the various challenge runs out there)

  • Giftless: "yeah, I can just spam Gift Boxes to win". Not anymore, champ! Lemme just take away the best move in the game! The modifier is that Gift Boxes becomes Birthday Cake and the Auto-Giftbox chip becomes Auto-Birthday (a sum of the Endless stat chips): good luck now

  • Difficulty 20: show how good you are at the game by beating something ten times harder than hard mode! The modifier is that the difficulty is now set to 20 and clear condition is obviously to clear the game with this difficulty

  • Screw Crew: show how busted the insta-kill moves are by only using insta-kill moves, chips and bytes in a ridiculously hard game, making it completely RNG-based. The modifier is that you can only use Reapers (or other insta-kill bytes) and characters with insta-kills, who can use only insta-kill moves. The clear condition is to beat the game with 1000 difficulty

  • Permanently Broke: Lolbit is ignoring you. Mendo has closed shop and filed for bankruptcy. DeeDee is fishing on her own once again, lonely and depressed. And all of that.. because you are allergic to money. The modifier is that you cannot obtain money in any way, literally: it won't drop, chests won't spawn and even if they do you still can't accept coins because of your real bad gold allergy

  • From start to end: funk other characters! You're not here to play *scoffs* Helpy, or Springtrap, or those cool Nightmares and Funtimes! Funk Scott's and the creator's hard work: you wanna keep playing as Freddy! Modifier is that the starting team is all you got for the rest of the game (and no... you can't use their skins)

Of course, challenge runs will be unlocked after beating the game in Hard Mode and no sooner than that (hopefully they aren't too much work for @LivingCorpse7 ). So, what do you think? You like the challenge runs I thought of?
